Returns and Exchanges Policy
To ensure the fastest resolution, we strongly recommend using our return & exchange process rather than filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks will delay processing and incur additional fees for you.
Reporting a Return, Exchange, or Order Problem If you experience any problem with your order — including non-delivery, damage, incorrect items, or a return/exchange request — you must notify Athletegy in writing within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. Written notification must be submitted through one of the following accepted channels only:
- Your Athletegy account portal at https://shopify.com/56740151447/account, or
- Email to info@athletegy.com
Please make sure to include your order number with all correspondence. Phone calls, social media messages, or any other form of communication do not constitute valid written notification and will not be accepted as a basis for a claim, return, exchange, or dispute.
Upon receipt of your written notification, Athletegy will acknowledge and respond within 5 business days. Customers must allow this response window to elapse before escalating to any third party, including payment providers or banks.
Return & Exchange Eligibility Athletegy has a 45-day returns and exchanges policy; to be eligible, items must be received in our warehouse no later than 45 days from the date of delivery to you. Products must be received in a saleable condition and not materially used, worn, damaged, or stained. If the products' value has diminished due to your handling of the products to a greater extent than is necessary in order to ascertain its characteristics or function, you have an obligation to reimburse us. Athletegy then has the right to withhold such amount from any refund. Items sold as 'Final Sale' are not eligible for return or exchange.
Failure to follow our return process, such as filing a chargeback without prior written contact through the designated channels above, will result in automatic denial of any concurrent return or refund request and may result in account suspension.
Return Shipping All return shipping labels provided by Athletegy contain a tracking number allowing you to track the progress of your return or exchange. To obtain your return label, please send a request with your name and order number to info@athletegy.com or utilize our online system.
Our warehouse operates Monday – Friday; it is closed and does not process returns or exchanges on weekends, state or federal holidays. Although we aim to process returns and exchanges as quickly as possible, please allow up to 5 business days from the product being received by our warehouse before contacting us.
International customers and US based customers in Alaska and Hawaii are responsible for any return postage for returns or exchanges. Our paid postage exchanges policy is limited to the 48 contiguous United States.
All products marked as 'Final Sale' cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged. Hats, Underwear and Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or returned. Seasonal Items can only be exchanged.
Exchanges Purchased products are exchangeable for any other item sold by Athletegy subject to stock availability. Exchanges are free of charge; free ground shipping is provided for exchanged items and no restocking fees are charged.
New items are dispatched once the exchange has been received in our warehouse. Hats, Underwear and Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or returned. Final Sale Items cannot be exchanged or returned. Seasonal Items can only be exchanged.
Returns and Refunds To be eligible for a refund, returns must be received in our warehouse within 45 days from the date of delivery to you.
Athletegy will issue a refund in the amount paid minus any shipping and restocking fees where applicable. Athletegy will pay the refund within 10 business days of the returned products being received in our warehouse. Refunds can only be made to the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
All returns are subject to a 6% restocking fee.
Wrong Items or Defective Products If you receive defective or incorrect products (e.g., wrong size or item), you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery via your customer account portal or by emailing info@athletegy.com. Written notification must include your order number and photo or video evidence of the defect or incorrect item at the time of notification. Claims submitted without supporting documentation may not be eligible for resolution.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating any disputes with your payment provider, as this allows us to resolve the matter quickly and efficiently. If Athletegy reasonably determines that the products are in fact defective or incorrect, we will send you a non-defective identical replacement item or will make a full refund to you, including shipping costs (domestic only; international customers responsible for return shipping).
Chargeback and Dispute Policy Before escalating any issue to a bank dispute or chargeback, customers are required to have: (a) submitted written notification through the designated channels above, (b) received Athletegy's response within the 5 business day window, and (c) allowed any applicable insurance or resolution process to conclude. Initiating a chargeback without completing these steps will result in automatic denial of any concurrent return or refund request.
Filing a chargeback for an order that was delivered to the confirmed shipping address, or after a resolution was already offered by Athletegy, constitutes abuse of this policy and may be reported to the payment provider as a fraudulent dispute.
Abuse of Return or Exchange Policy Abuse of our return or exchange policy, including but not limited to excessive returns or exchanges, filing chargebacks without first completing the written notification process, or misrepresenting the condition or receipt of an order, may result in cancellation of future orders, restrictions on your account, suspension of free return shipping, and reporting to the relevant payment provider.
Reviews and Return Eligibility Any product for which a review has been submitted will be considered final sale and no longer eligible for return or refund. By submitting a review, you confirm that you have fully evaluated the product and accept it in its current condition. As such, submission of a review constitutes acceptance of the item and closes the return window for that product. This policy does not affect your rights in the case of defective or incorrect items, which remain eligible for replacement or refund in accordance with our standard policies.
